Rethinking Outreach:
How AdVans Delivered Results for a Perimeter Security Brand

Teksec Logo

When it comes to niche B2B marketing, traditional approaches like cold calls, email blasts, or direct mail campaigns can often fall short. For specialist manufacturers like Teksec, a leading provider of perimeter security solutions and automated barriers, cutting through the noise to reach the right decision-makers requires something a little different.

That’s where our AdVan Digital Out-of-Home campaigns came in.

Breaking the B2B Mold

AdVans/DigiVans—typically seen promoting retail offers or leisure events—may not be the obvious choice for B2B brands. But that’s exactly why they work.

By taking your message directly to where your potential customers are—industrial parks, logistics hubs, or trade events—you can bypass saturated digital channels and stale outreach methods.

For Teksec, we did just that.

A Targeted, Strategic Approach

We worked closely with Teksec to identify key geographic zones and audience clusters, focusing on sectors most in need of advanced perimeter security: distribution centres, manufacturing facilities, and premisses with automated barriers or gates.

Rather than wait for the right people to open an email or answer a phone call, our Advan took Teksec’s message directly to their doorstep—literally.

The campaign featured:

  • High-impact mobile digital billboard messaging tailored to the brand’s core value propositions. With a key focus on preventative maintenance/service, installation and keeping businesses compliant with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Route planning designed to maximise visibility by targeting medium to large industrial estates within Northamptonshire. Businesses with existing automated barriers or gates, and high footfall locations such as Coffee/Sandwich vendors within these industrial estates at key times of the day.
  • Campaign tracking with detailed reporting and insights post-campaign for the client.

What We Learned

This campaign was a reminder that innovation in outreach doesn’t always require a flashy tech platform. Sometimes, it’s about revisiting proven formats—like mobile advertising—and applying them in new ways.

The result? Increased brand awareness, stronger leads, and a fresh take on how to connect with niche, hard-to-reach buyers and most importantly do something different to what your competitors are doing.

AdVans: Not Just for Retail

If you’re in a niche market and feel like your current marketing mix is missing something, it might be time to take your message to the streets—literally.

AdVans and DigiVans are flexible, highly visible, and surprisingly effective at engaging new audiences in a fresh, unexpected way.
